Collection: Enameled Earrings

The Art of Vitreous Enamel My enameled jewelry is created using the ancient technique of fusing powdered glass to metal at temperatures exceeding 1400°F. Unlike "cold enamel" or painted-on resins found in mass-produced jewelry, vitreous enamel is a true glass-to-metal bond.

The Process:

  • Foundation: I hand-mill my silver or press-cut my copper stock to create a high-quality base.

  • Texture: Many pieces feature roll-printed patterns that create a three-dimensional "glow" beneath the glass.

  • Kiln-Firing: Multiple layers of glass are sifted onto the metal and fired in a kiln. This creates a permanent, scratch-resistant, and fade-proof finish that will never lose its vivid color.

  • Artisanal Finish: Because each piece is fired individually, the subtle gradients and reactions within the glass make every pair an original work of art.
